Moving Away

Wow...  Who would have guessed the time to move away has already come and gone.  I'm officially a resident of Logan, Utah!  I know, no one expected me to actually make it this far.  Logan truly is a beautiful city and I absolutely love living here!
But beginning my move was not easy.  I was leaving everything behind, my friends, family, job, and home.       The past eighteen years in Layton have treated me exceptionally well and it was hard to say goodbye.  The day before I left, my friends and I had a massive Harry Potter movie marathon.  Needless to say, I arrived at Gage Thomas' house at four in the morning and only left a few times until eleven o'clock at night.  Most would say this was a waste of a perfectly good Friday, but I loved it!  I got to spend time with all of my very best friends who I love dearly and miss more than I can possibly say.  I even started crying towards the end of the movie knowing that it was my last night with all of them.
The next day, I invited my friends over for lunch so that I could say goodbye before I left.  I may not have cried then, but my heart was breaking as I hugged all of them goodbye.  These have been the friends who buoyed up my life over the past two years and I'm still struggling with not seeing them everyday.  But the time arrived when I had to leave my life in Layton and go off on my new adventure.
I love this picture for a lot of reasons...  Austen, you're one
of them.

Gage has been one of my very best friends for the past
 two years.  He's so masculine...

We've been friends since the first grade.  I love my little Austen!

Devin's dumb and wouldn't let me get a good picture of him...

 For example.

i h8 her.  jk lol,  ily

We're pretty much brother and sister.  And we will
probably never stop making fun of each other.  Ever.

 Legs.

 A gaggle of legs.

 Oh Cameron...

Finally I got him to take a picture with me.  It's only
been four days and I miss him more than I can express.

And the adventure happened!  I moved into my apartment in Wasatch Hall #203.  There are ants and a few bugs, the bathroom growls, the toilet occasionally doesn't work, and most of our outlets are closer to the ceiling than the floor, but I love it.  It already feels like home!  And just to make sure I wasn't feeling lonesome, my very best friend Hunter Amanda Jensen stayed the night with me on Sunday to Monday and oh, what a glorious time we had.

Walking around the Logan Cemetery at night...

Pretty much the most beautiful
temple.

I've missed my best friend this summer and having her come
up was a life saver!

After Hunter left, I had to get prepped for my calculus refresher course.  To put it lightly, it's about five straight hours of He...(you can fill in the last two letters.)  I still have the rest of the week with it, but hey, at least there are cute RMs in the class.

 My dorm room!

Yeah...  My hallway either looks like the scene of a murder
or a prison.

My living room after a little remodeling.

 The kitch.

 I am an Aggie!

Luckily, I'm still keeping in touch with my friends.  I've talked to Hunter on the phone for 2-3 hours, Gage for 2 hours, and Devin for about 5 hours. I'm never losing touch with them!

Devin likes to skype shirtless...
